The Old Riga and Art Nouveau in the Calm Centre
There are
two must see places in Riga – the Old town and the Calm centre with its’ gorgeous
Art Nouveau or Jugendstyle buildings. It
is possible to visit these two places within the framework of the one
excursion, particularly as, the way from the old Riga to the Calm Centre goes through beautiful parks
on the banks of City canal.
During
excursion we will visit all the most important objects of old Riga- Blackheads
house, St. Peters church, Convent Yard, St.Johns church and yard, dwelling
houses complex Three brothers, Dome church, Riga defence wall an Powder tower,
St. Jacobs Church. Through the parks we
will go the Calm Centre to see the impressive buildings on the Elizabetes,
Antonijas, Alberta and Strelnieku Street.
