Art Nouveau in architecture and interiors of Riga

Riga can deservedly be proud of the beautiful architecture of Art Nouveau. No other city can boast such a variety of exquisite examples from this amazing style. Riga has been crowned one of the best cities in Europe to visit for its diverse range of Art Nouveau. In the same time art Nouveau buildings are magnificent not only outside, but also inside. So, I propose not only get to know art Nouveau architecture, but also interiors of this style.

The excursion consists of 2 parts: at first you will become acquainted with the most magnificent buildings of the Riga Art Nouveau, and then we will visit the museum of Art Nouveau on Albert Street 12, where is exposed the authentic interior of 1903. It is located in the apartment where the outstanding Latvian architect Konstantīns Pēkšēns lived.

We start the tour on the corner of K. Valdemara and Elizabethes Street, then we go along Elizabethe Street to Antonijas Street, then we continue our way on Antonias Street, from which we turn to Albert Street, at the end of which there is a museum of Art Nouveau of Riga, which we will visit.

Duration of the tour: 1.5 hours

Price: 1-4 people 40 euros, 5-12 people - 50 euros, more person-60 euros

The price includes the services of a guide on the street and in the museum (I have a certificate to guide tours in the museum).

The price does not include tickets to visit the museum of Art nouveau of Riga (the entrance for guide is free of charge). Information about the museum's opening times and ticket prices is on the museum 's website: http://www.jugendstils.riga.lv/eng/muzejs
